About Us

Simple. Direct. Support.

Having spent several years full-time in the public school system, Leeann and Rachel realized how much support our community needed outside of school hours. Recognizing the extreme shortage of behavior analytic providers paired with the availability of many behavior analytic companies not matching up with the needs of school aged individuals - LR was born!

Together we make up LR Consulting Solutions, a simple, direct, and supportive approach to using behavior analytic science to change the lives of others.

Leeann Peck
BCBA, Owner

Hi! I’m Leeann, the L of LR Consulting. I received my BCBA in 2014 after completing my Masters in Special Education and my supervision hours at a non-profit activity center for children and teens with special needs in New York City. I then worked in the Washington DC area providing in-home behavioral support before moving to my forever home, Kansas City. Here in Kansas City, I have worked both in-home and in a large public school district supporting students in middle school through adulthood.  I am passionate about real world skills and creating a peaceful home environment for individuals and their families.

Rachel Howard BCBA, OwnerHi, I’m Rachel! The R of LR Consulting and I’m so excited to meet you! I stumbled into the behavior analytic world by accident after receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Kansas in 2014. Having no idea what I wanted to do with my degree I went to work in a clinic providing therapy for individuals with Autism and ended up staying there for almost 5 years! After receiving my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology and earning my BCBA in 2018, I moved to Iowa where I worked for a non-profit organization providing services to children with various diagnoses. Kansas City has my heart though and I came back home after only a year away! Here in Kansas City I have spent time working in a large public school district, in home, and clinical settings. I am passionate about taking all that I have learned and bringing it directly to the individuals and families I support!

Jessica Lafferty BCBAHi, I’m Jess! I fell in love with ABA while obtaining my masters in Clinical Psychology from Missouri State University and never looked back. After working in-home and in clinical settings in Springfield, MO, I moved to Kansas City to provide behavior support and training for a large suburban school district—which is also where I met Leeann and Rachel! I quickly realized that we all shared a passion for making behavioral science compassionate, accessible to all, and practical to implement, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the LR team.

Sara Garber
BCBA

Hi, I’m Sara! I started my career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2007 as an ABA Implementer at a private school for students with social and behavioral disorders. I have experience serving students ranging from 6-21 years of age. As I went back to school to get my Master’s Degree, I transitioned to a company that allowed me to work in homes as well as support students with intensive behaviors within school districts. In 2017, I obtained my BCBA and helped launch an out-of-district alternative education facility. I am a firm believer in being preventative by expanding language, utilizing coping skills, implementing meaningful reinforcement, etc. I have enjoyed serving the students, families, districts, and staff that I have had the privilege of working with. I am now looking forward to applying my experiences with  wide ranges of behavioral challenges by assisting parents navigating behavioral struggles and helping kiddos reach new milestones!
